ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Central Florida man who was convicted of killing two hikers may have struck again. Leo Boatman is jailed for life for murdering Amber Peck and John Parker in the Ocala National Forest in 2006. At that time, Boatman told investigators he just wanted to kill somebody. Officials with the Department of Corrections have announced that Boatman was involved in a fight in Punta Gorda, and the other inmate died. Read More. |
