PALA - Two parolees were back behind bars today for allegedly stealing a vehicle and using it to lead law enforcement on a pursuit in the North County, a sheriff's sergeant said. Jacob Hutsell, 27, and his passenger, 26-year-old Christopher Peterson, were arrested Thursday afternoon following a pursuit from Pala Casino to Camp Rainbow Fire Camp, according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Bob Niderost. At about 3:40 p.m., a sheriff's deputy saw a white Honda Civic with no front plate in the parking area of Pala Casino. The deputy ran the vehicle's rear license plate and attempted a traffic stop after learning the Civic was stolen, Niderost said. Hutsell failed to yield to the deputy and instead, took off up Rice Canyon and Rainbow Heights, according to the sergeant.
