| Armed Robbery Gets Man 10+ Years |

A former Livingston County man was sentenced Thursday to at least 10 years in prison for robbing a Hamburg Township gas station. John Cornell Tynan of South Lyon earlier entered a plea in Livingston County Circuit Court to charges of armed robbery and possession of a Taser during the Jan. 9 robbery at the Marathon gas station at 7260 E. M-36. Circuit Judge Michael P. Hatty sentenced Tynan to a maximum of 40 years for the armed robbery charge, which runs concurrent to the one-year to four-year sentence Tynan was given for possession of the Taser. Read More. |
