MIDLAND — A 42-year-old Lee Township man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a girl will spend at least 40 months in prison. Darwin E. Tubbs is currently housed at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson, state Department of Corrections records show. Midland County Circuit Judge Michael J. Beale ordered Tubbs to serve 40 months to 15 years in prison after Tubbs pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person younger than 13, state records show.
