SYCAMORE – A Kingston man was sentenced Monday to more than a decade in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two girls.

John B. Biskie, 38, was arrested in March 2007 and initially charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He pleaded guilty Aug. 26 to one count each of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. DeKalb County First Assistant State’s Attorney Bill Engerman said the plea agreement Biskie made included the sentence handed down Monday.

Biskie will spend 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on the predatory criminal sexual assault charges and must serve 85 percent of that sentence. He was sentenced to three years on the other charge, and Circuit Judge Robbin Stuckert said the sentences are to be served consecutively. Biskie had sexual conduct with two different girls, both under the age of 13 at the time, in 2006, Engerman said. Biskie knew both girls before the abuse, Engerman said.
