PHOENIX -- An attorney for a death row inmate wants the state Department of Corrections to say how it is obtaining the three drugs needed for his execution. Jeffrey Landrigan is scheduled to die Oct. 26. There's a national shortage of one of the drugs, but the department has said it expected to get it. A member of Landrigan's defense team wants the department to identify its sources for the drugs, including details on purchases, transportation and storage. Read More. |
