Pizza Robbery, Murder Suspects Arrested

RALEIGH, Sep 29, 2010 (The News & Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Two Raleigh men were arrested late Tuesday night in the January murder of an assistant manager at a Knightdale Domino's Pizza store, the first murder in the town's 82-year history.

One of the men arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Nicho D'Angelo Bowers, 20, was the pizza delivery driver police said discovered Kenny Ring beaten and lying on the floor of the store just after midnight on Jan. 10.

The other man arrested Tuesday night is Travis Melton Sherman, 21, who is Bowers' brother and was riding with Bowers on the night Ring was robbed and attacked, according to court records.
