A Milwaukee County (Wisc.) Sheriff's Deputy accused of organizing inmate strip shows at the jail is no longer on the force. 46-year-old Tony Kearney was fired by the county's review board last Tuesday after hearing testimony from former inmates. They claim that he'd threaten to harm their families, if they didn't take their clothes off. Male inmates across the way could see them. Kearney is also accused of passing letters between inmates at the jail. Kearney denies all the allegations. Sheriff David Clarke who called for Kearney's firing released a statement last Tuesday night saying, "the decision sends a strong message to the community and Milwaukee County Sheriff's employees." |
