BROCTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - When Darryl Parker and Rashaun Austin escaped from the Lakeview Correctional Facility, the intense search brought back vivid memories of another pursuit. Resident Colleen Jusko said, "The last time was when the scenario with Ralph Bucky Phillips." Phillips escaped from a correctional facility in Alden back in 2006. He eluded authorities for the next 5 months, making his way through both New York and Pennsylvania. In his attempt to escape, he shot 3 New York State Police Troopers. Read More. |
