SANTA CRUZ - The District Attorney's Office announced Monday a Boulder Creek woman, who tried to conceal her husband's sexual abuse of a pre-teen girl, was sentenced to three years in prison. Faith Jane McDougal, 57, of Boulder Creek, was sentenced by Judge Michael Barton on Monday for felony child endangerment and witness intimidation in connection with the sexual molestation of a minor. Her husband is serving 17 years to life for the actual sexual crimes, the DA's office reported. Ronald Eugene McDougal, 53, was sentenced to 17 years in state prison for the long-term abuse and intimidation of the girl, then 11. He pleaded guilty to sexually abusing the girl, who just turned 13, then trying to dissuade the child from reporting the molestation. Read More. |
