| Buglary Suspect Is Repeat Offender |

Police arrested a 24-year-old Amarillo man on Monday on a charge of burglary, less than a month after he completed a six-year prison term for the same crime, authorities said. Cameron Deniell Menson, who is accused of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony, and evading arrest, a misdemeanor, was released from the Texas Department of Corrections on Sept. 10, police said. The 71-year-old resident of a home in the 700 block of Southwest 17th Avenue reported a burglary about 10:35 p.m. Monday, and told police what she could hear from inside the home as they responded.
