Joseph Druce is serving two life sentences for killing two people in 1988 and 2003. He is now seeking approval from the state Department of Corrections (DOC) to marry Shirl Borden, a Christian minister and Air Force veteran from South Carolina. The two have communicated for the past five years through letters. "I love him very much. He's got a wonderful personality," Ms Borden said.
