Police Await Autopsy Results For DOC Sergeant

A 30-year-old state prison sergeant was found dead in his Bradford County home Tuesday.

Co-workers checking on his well-being found Adam Shaun Napier unresponsive about 1:30 p.m. in the home in the 22500 block of NW 77th Ave. in Starke, the Sheriff's Office said.

Napier was the lone resident of the state Department of Corrections-owned home used for employee housing. Napier was an 11-year correctional officer assigned to Union Correctional Institute. He was last seen alive Saturday.
