| One Man, One Night, Two Arrests |

WATERLOO, Iowa - Headlight problems and bags of pot landed a Waterloo man behind bars twice in one night, according to Waterloo police. Officers stopped Derrick James Morehead twice in a matter of hours between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, each time finding money and marijuana, authorities said. Police first pulled over a Buick Century with a burnt-out headlight on Newell Street at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found Morehead behind the wheel and also located more than 42 grams of marijuana and $200 in cash, according to police. Morehead was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and violation of the drug tax stamp act. He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail, and he bonded out 12:52 a.m. Wednesday.
