| Wisc. Officials Arrest Man For Shooting At Police |

(WAOW)--The man who shot at an officer and a then barricaded himself inside is home is now in custody. According to police, officers went to Gregory Long's home on Airport Avenue in Grand Rapids around 6:30 PM on Thursday to serve him a warrant for failing to update his address on the sex offender registry. After talking with officers for about 5 minutes, Long pulled out a gun and shot at one of the officers. The officer's bullet proof vest protected him from any serious injuries. The officers were able to take cover and call for back up. Long then barricaded himself inside the home for several hours while officers tried to negotiate with him.
