Guam DOC Facing Civil Suit

Guam - Another Department of Corrections inmate has filed a civil rights complaint in the District Court against the agency, alleging that his constitutional right to medical treatment was violated. Michael P. Castro, Jr. states hat he has submitted a plethora of administrative remedies and filed a couple of grievances to DepCor director J.B. Palacios.

The inmate also alleges that still nothing has been done to resolve his request for medical treatment. Castro says he has been continuously ignored to receive treatment and x-rays he requested for an injury to his right shoulder that he had this past May.
