| CA Rehab Center Riot Injures 4 Inmates |

The California Rehabilitation Center in Norco remained on lockdown Monday as officials investigated the circumstances of a riot on Sunday morning. The fight involved about 10 to 15 inmates, said California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokesman Luis Patino. Four of the inmates sustained serious, though not life-threatening, injuries, Patino said. Their conditions were upgraded to "good" on Monday, Patino said. Inmates involved in the fight have been, and are expected to be, moved to the California Institution for Men where they have been placed on administration segregation in order to make sure inmates who have a violent history with each other are not in the same location, Patino said. Three of the four inmates sent to local hospitals have since returned back to the infirmary at CRC and are expected to also move to CIM when their conditions improve further.
