EUGENE, Ore. -- Hundreds of juvenile justice and public safety personnel are in Eugene Monday for the 2010 Oregon Juvenile Justice Symposium. The group plans to discuss the future of Oregon's Juvenile Justice System, which is being held at the Eugene Hilton. Governor Ted Kulongski is scheduled to speak Monday at 8:45 a.m. His speech will highlight the importance of everyone working together to improve Oregon's juvenile justice system. For the next two days, participants from across the juvenile justice system spectrum, from advocacy groups to the Oregon Department of Corrections, will examine the strengths and challenges of the current system.
