COWLITZ COUNTY, Wash. -- Cowlitz County Deputies arrested an escaped sex offender Sunday in the Lexington area. A news viewer tip put the sex offender back behind bars. Eric Lair was being taken to the Cowlitz County Jail on October 1st when he kicked open the back door of the department of corrections caged car and jumped out while it was moving, according to deputies.
