The man suspected of gunning down a store owner during a robbery in College Park is a career criminal who was released from jail earlier this year on an armed robbery conviction. A small memorial was left outside the front doors of the Sunset Thrifty Bakery & Meats in College Park, where Michael Moore was killed Friday. An arrest warrant has been issued for 41-year-old Eric Lamar Carr of Atlanta, said College Park Police Lt. Bruce Braxton. Officers went to Carr's home on Pinedale Drive, but were unable to locate him, Braxton said. Carr will be charged with felony murder in the death of Michael Moore, who was shot in the chest Friday at Sunset Thrifty Bakery and Meats at 2549 Roosevelt Highway, police said. Carr is a convicted felon who has previously served four sentences in state prison, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
