Prison officers will soon be ditching their olive green 1970s-style uniform for more comfortable blue styles. Corrections Minister Judith Collins inspected revamped uniforms this morning. The Department of Corrections is hoping to introduce three new designs - the first review of uniforms since 1976. They are blue - to match other uniforms in the justice sector, such as police.
