| MS Teen Faces Sexual Battery Charges |

An 18-year-old Moss Point man has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery, Sheriff Mike Byrd said Tuesday. Vishun Lamar Evans, who resides in the 4200 block of Karen Street, was arrested Monday and charged for the sexual battery of two children under the age of 12, authorities said. "He knew the victims, and he took advantage of them," Byrd said. "We received an anonymous tip that led to his arrest." While Evans has been charged with two counts of sexual battery, "it'll continue to be investigated, and we're going to take the rest of the investigation to the grand jury," he said. Read More. |
