| Inmate Walked Away From Work Release |

HUNTSVILLE — Authorities are searching for a Decatur Work Release inmate who sought treatment for a work injury at Huntsville Hospital on Monday night and apparently walked away. Charles Young, 41, checked into the hospital at 11:30 p.m. but was later listed as a “no show for treatment,” said Brian Corbett, spokesman for the state Department of Corrections. “Young is a property offender and was serving time for illegal possession of a credit card, second-degree theft and first-degree theft charges,” Corbett said. Young had a parole hearing date set for September 2011, Corbett said. Young is a white male, 5-foot, 10-inches tall, weighing 190 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. Read More. |
