A prison inmate was convicted today of having another inmate send threatening letters to two Sheboygan County judges. A jury found Wallace R. Martonez, 31, guilty of two felony counts of battery or threat to a judge for offering another inmate $500 to send letters to judges Timothy Van Akkeren and Gary Langhoff. The threats were mailed in November while Martonez and the other inmate, Jesse Williams, were at the Waupun Correctional Institute.
