| Man Facing Sex Abuse Charges From Inside Prison |

An Anchorage man in jail on federal charges accusing him of running a massive sex trafficking ring and on a weapons offense conviction has been charged with sexually abusing prisoners at Anchorage Correctional Complex, the U.S. attorney's office said Thursday. Sabil Mujahid, 53, is accused in the new charges of aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse and abusive sexual contact against three male prisoners, according to the 12-count federal indictment. The indictment did not name the three prisoners or say why they were in jail. The latest charges, which the U.S. attorney's office said carry a possible life sentence, mean Mujahid faces two life sentences in unresolved cases: the new sex abuse charges and the sex trafficking charges from late last year.
