| Former Football Coach Violates Court Order |

GEORGETOWN -- Alleged rapist and former Cape Henlopen High School football coach Tom Ott tried to contact his victims in violation of a court order, officials said Monday. According to court documents filed Wednesday, Ott attempted to make contact multiple times. He also allegedly asked an unidentified third party to communicate with them on his behalf. Ott, 39, faces 53 counts in connection with the abuse of a teenage boy and rape of a 16-year-old girl. The letters were sent while Ott was incarcerated at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna, Del. He had previously spent several months in a hospital recovering from an April suicide attempt, in which he jumped from a third-story fire escape in Dover.
