DETROIT -- A Detroit man has been charged in the deaths of two Alabama men who were found dead inside a burned out house. Edward Williams, 47, is facing charges of capital murder, attempted murder and arson. According to court records, Williams has a history of being in and out of jail for various crimes. Most recently, he was paroled after serving time for a resisting arrest and fleeing from an officer conviction. His parole was being monitored through the Michigan Department of Corrections' telephone reporting system, but he was taken off that system in early October because of concerns over his mental health, Local 4 has learned.
