For the second time in about a year in Richmond County, a son has been accused of killing his mother. County Social Services officials say reports of the type of abuse alleged against the victim of the latest Hoffman case are uncommon, but are investigated thoroughly. In August 2009, the first son was accused of killing his mother, but he’s been ruled incompetent to stand trial. Aaron Samory Ingram, who was 26 at the time of his arrest and lived on Bryson Drive, Hamlet, was also arrested and charged with killing his mother. Read More. |
