| Probation May Be Revoked For Promoting Relations With Young Girl |

Three people were charged this week for allegedly helping a 23-year-old Sheboygan sex offender pursue a relationship with a 16-year-old girl. The sex offender, Joshua V. Peaine, spent time with the girl at his sister's house and communicated with her by telephone and letters with help from his friends and family, according to a criminal complaint. Peaine's sister, Elizabeth A. Peaine; her boyfriend, Jerry A. Sonneman; and another friend of Peaine's, Crystal G. Kussard; were charged Monday with misdemeanor encouraging a probation violation, which carries a maximum penalty of nine months in jail. The complaint said all three knew Peaine was a sex offender and knew the rules he was under while still helping him pursue the unapproved relationship, have unapproved contact with minors and stay at unapproved residences overnight.
