ALBANY, GA (WALB) – The Department of Corrections is investigating the death of an inmate at Autry State Prison in Mitchell County. Corrections officials say 46-year old Patrick Richardson was found unresponsive in his cell at Autry State Prison Sunday. Richardson was transported to the Mitchell County Hospital where he died. He was serving a 13-year sentence on a burglary conviction in Sumter County. Read More. |
