MANITOWOC — A man sentenced to prison for sexual assault of a child will be released into the community Thursday, according to the Manitowoc Police Department. Andrew L. Ramos, 38, will reside at 4002 Ellis St., Manitowoc. Ramos was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child and third-degree sexual assault in 1998, according to Manitowoc County Circuit Court records. A police department news release says Ramos' victims were a young boy and teenage girls. Ramos is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 316 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Residents who see Ramos near bars, taverns or schools should immediately call the police at (920) 686-6500, then press 2. The news release reminds residents Ramos is not wanted at this time. Conditions of his release require him to comply with lifetime sex offender requirements, have no unsupervised contact with minors, have no contact with bars, taverns or liquor stores, maintain sobriety from alcohol and drugs, cooperate with electronic monitoring and more.
