OROVILLE — New information emerged Wednesday as a 16-year-old boy who had qualms about his recent admission to a murder charge again confirmed his guilt and was sentenced in Butte County Juvenile Court for his role in a home invasion robbery and homicide last winter in Oroville. The teen is one of six boys charged with the home invasion robbery Feb. 18 of a house on Brookdale Court and the death of the widowed homeowner, Frank Battaglia. Battaglia, 73, was beaten during the incident and died six days later from injuries. Read More. |
