The Rockingham County Department of Corrections has a new superintendent. Stephen Church was named to the position by the county's Board of Commissioners. Church started his career in 1989 as a corrections officer. He has served as chief of security, director of inmate classification and of staff development, and as a department investigator. Church has also worked with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies on anti-gang initiatives. Read More. |
