| AZ Man Pleads Guilty In Murder Trial |

A man accused in an execution-style murder in Goodyear in 2008 pleaded guilty last week to first-degree murder, according to Maricopa County Superior Court records. Jose Garcia-Morfin, 32, also had been indicted on kidnapping in the homicide of Josue Montero, 29, but pleaded guilty only to the murder charge Thursday, court documents state. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 7. Garcia-Morfin is one of three defendants indicted in the case. Lizzette Denisse Peralta Romero, 26, and Raul Chavez, 28, also are facing first-degree murder and kidnapping charges, records show. Read More. |
