Skeletal remains found in a Palos Township forest preserve nearly six years ago have been identified as a Justice man, Cook County sheriff's police said Tuesday. Glenn Serratt, a father of four, was last seen at the Dan McMahon Woods at Illinois 83 and 104th Avenue near Palos Heights where his girlfriend dropped him off to go camping in September 2004. His clothing and boots were found scattered over a 500-foot area, along with some skeletal remains in December 2004, but a dental examination didn't match any missing persons reports, according to a sheriff's spokeswoman. A forensic anthropologist couldn't determine the cause of death but couldn't rule out homicide. Read More. |
