| Inmate uses fake id to escape Ottawa County jail |

An inmate has escaped from the Ottawa County (Mich.) jail by pretending to be another inmate who was scheduled for release. The sheriff's department says 29-year-old Talonzo Broyles of Holland swapped jail I-D cards with another prisoner was due for release. Authorities say Broyles passed through several checkpoints and walked out of the West Olive jail before they realized the deception. Broyles was on probation and is being investigated for a Holland home invasion. |
