BRENTWOOD — The Rockingham County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Church as superintendent of the Rockingham County Department of Corrections. Church began his career in 1989 as a corrections officer and moved up the ranks to superintendent. He served the department in several capacities to include chief of security, director of inmate classification, staff development, and department investigator. He worked with federal, state, and local law enforcement across New England on anti-gang initiatives. Church brings a broad perspective of modern corrections and its role in the criminal justice system to an already exemplary operation. Read More. |
