| Sexual Contact With Inmate Gets Guard 4 Months In Jail |

MEADVILLE -- The former prison guard who pleaded guilty to having illegal sexual contact with a female inmate was sentenced in Crawford County Court today to four months in jail followed by three months of house arrest. William G. Gorton III, 31, of Cambridge Springs, was additionally ordered to pay court costs and a $250 fine. He will be required to register with state police as a convicted sex offender after his release from jail. Gorton pleaded guilty in August to one count of institutional sexual assault, a third-degree felony. Read More. |
