Alma police have arrested a Southeast Georgia woman and man in a hit-and-run collision that killed two Bacon County men Sunday night.

A parolee, Stephanie Jeanet Cothern, 28, of Ambrose and David Vernon Bell Jr., 23, of Screven each are charged with two counts of first-degree vehicular homicide in the deaths of Joshua Williams and Andrew Galbraith, Alma Police Chief Brandon Sellers told the Times-Union.

Sellers said the investigation indicates Cothern was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima that struck the men, who were walking to a store.
