The supervisor of the sex offender treatment program at Kentucky’s Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in LaGrange has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure. Charles Lickteig II, 48, of Louisville, was arrested on Oct. 14, on a charge of one count of Indecent Exposure in the Second Degree. He has been released from custody, and is scheduled to appear before Judge David Bowles in Jefferson District Court on Nov. 30, for a pretrial conference. According to a report filed by LMPD 5th District officer James Schwab, Jr., a complaining witness named Theresa M. Roth reported that Lickteig exposed his genitals while he was stopped at a traffic light next to her vehicle on U.S. 42 at Lime Kiln Lane in Louisville, last Aug. 23. The witness said Lickteig saw her looking at him and continued to masturbate. The woman got Lickteig’s license plate number and later called police. Officials at Kentucky’s Department of Corrections have indicated that Lickteig has been working with that agency since January, 2005, but that he has been placed on paid administrative leave since his arrest. Lickteig has entered a plea of not guilty to the charge, and his lawyer, Alex Dathorne, told Beth Musgrave of the Lexington Herald-Leader that his client was working toward “resolution in the matter.” Read More. |
