| County Detention Center To Have Deal With Tribe |

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County Governmental Building Authority trustees approved a detention-incarceration agreement with Cherokee Nation Wednesday. The agreement is an annual contract and is for the 2011 fiscal year that started in October. Cherokee County Detention Center Administrator Loyd Bickel said the facility rarely houses CN prisoners, but occasionally has some on tribal child support cases.
