| Youth Jail Gets New Superintendent |

HELENA (AP) — The state Department of Corrections has named Steve Ray Jr., as the superintendent at Pine Hills Youth Correctional Facility in Miles City. Ray begins his new job Nov. 29. He replaces the late Jim Hunter, who was superintendent for 10 years. Hunter died in August after a brief illness. Ray graduated from high school in Broadus and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Minot State in 2000. He has been working in the corrections field since 2001, most recently as warden at the Dawson County Regional Prison in Glendive. Read More. |
