JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. -- One of Jackson County's most wanted sex offenders has been found and arrested in Pontotoc, Sheriff Mike Byrd said Monday. Hubert Ernest Ray, 58, is charged with noncompliance of a sex offender. Ray was convicted in Rankin County in May 1979 on charges of rape and assault with intent to ravish, according to a Jackson County Sheriff's Department news release.
