BAY CITY — Federal authorities have asked a judge to revoke a release order for a Mount Pleasant man accused of ramming two people with his car. U.S. Attorney Barbara L. McQuade claims Lyle J. Pego has failed to obey a court-ordered 10 p.m. curfew. The 19-year-old suspect was jailed from the time of his arraignment June 14 until Sept. 17 when a judge released him on tether, according to court files. McQuade alleges five curfew violations between Sept. 24 and Nov. 17. The alleged violations include returning home one hour to four hours past curfew and being away from home for six hours in the middle of the night, court records show. Read More. |
