A man originally convicted of sexual abusing a 3-year-old girl was sentenced to eight years in state prison Tuesday after having his probation revoked for multiple violations of behavior rules. Jason A. Foster, 20, appeared in Sauk County Circuit Court for sentencing stemming from an April 2008 conviction on a felony count of second-degree sexual assault of a child. Court records state Foster was a resident of the Mendota Juvenile Mental Health Center in Madison when he was charged in September 2007, but has ties to the Sauk Prairie area. According to a criminal complaint, a Sauk County woman spoke with a Sheriff's Department detective in February 2007. The woman reported that Foster was with her and her 3-year-old daughter on a farm in rural Sauk County during May or June of 2004. Read More. |
