Savannah, TN - After a rash of break-ins and burglaries over the past several months, including two at the Hardin County Courthouse, the Savannah Police Department announced an arrest had been made in many of the cases. Dustin C. Rinks, 27, of 160 Thomas Street was initially charged on a single burglary charge on Friday, November 19th by Savannah Police Department Investigator T.J. Barker. After continued investigation and interviews with Mr. Rinks the remaining charges were filed against him on Wednesday, November 24th with a total of 5 Vandalism charges and 28 Burglary charges along with a charge of Possession of Burglary Tools. Mr Rinks had reportedly been released from custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections earlier this year. In September, Rinks was charged with are the burglaries of both Enville City Hall and and the Jack's Creek Post Office that occurred on August 30th. Read More. |
