| Iowa Prison Stabbings Get Reaction On Outside |

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The family of a man murdered in 1998 reacted Thursday to the latest news about the man convicted in the crime. Toby Michael stabbed three people at a Des Moines Dahl's in 1998. This week officials at the Iowa State Penitentiary said he was involved in another stabbing. Four inmates were seriously hurt in the incident, which remains under investigation. Three of the inmates are serving life sentences for murder: Derek Smith, Joshua George and Toby Michael. The other inmate, Heath Burgess, is serving time for sexual abuse and robbery. Read More. |
