| Woman Given 20 Years For IL Murder |

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- 28-year-old Elizabeth Lawyer has been sentenced to 20 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. On May 27, 2008, police responded to 20th Avenue and Parmele St. in reference to a deceased black male subject located in the driver's seat of a black Pontiac Bonneville. Police identified the deceased male as Larry Wright who died of a gunshot wound to the head. During the investigation, which involved multiple police agencies, it was determined that Elizabeth Lawyer along with two other males were involved with the shooting death of Larry Wright.
