The Jefferson County Detention Center (JCDC) is seeking contracts for their 120 bed facility located in Waurika, Ok. They are currently able to house adjudicated minimum and community security inmates; however, they are considering modifications to accommodate medium security inmates. The mission of the Jefferson County Detention Center is to Protect the public by providing a Safe, Secure and Professional environment for inmates to serve their mandated sentences and to help prepare them for successful re-entry into society. Staff are trained in Motivational Interviewing, re-entry techniques and all training required by Oklahoma statutes. The facility will operate under ACA standards and requirements. JCDC will have courses available in Anger Management, Thinking for a Change, Daily Living Skills, and GED with an emphasis on re-entry. JCDC are negotiable on per diem rates and programs offered.
