A Brighton Township man accused of assaulting his girlfriend will head to trial, a Genesee County District Court judge ruled. Ryan Keith Malone, 31, was initially charged with felonious assault and third-offense domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend at a Fenton restaurant in November. However, the assault charge has been dismissed, and prosecutors added a charge of unlawful use of an automobile for allegedly taking his girlfriend's vehicle. Fenton police were dispatched to a restaurant parking lot in the 17000 block of Silver Parkway at about 8:45 p.m. Nov. 19 to investigate a disturbance and possible stolen vehicle. Read More. |
